Cached insight reads (the dashboard briefing, a recently-viewed insight) are free — you only spend on a fresh generation.
Rollover & top-ups
- Rollover — unused credits carry into the next month, up to 1× your monthly allotment.
- Top-up packs — buy more any time: 200 credits for $5 or 1,000 for $20. Packs are added on top of your monthly allotment and don't expire monthly.
Your remaining balance (allotment + rollover + packs) shows in the AI credit meter near the AI surfaces and on the billing page.
Bring your own key
Enterprise customers can supply their own OpenRouter API key (Settings → Bring your own AI key). When set, all AI runs on your key — unmetered by LinkLane and billed by your provider. The key is encrypted at rest and never shown again. Remove it any time to revert to LinkLane's shared AI.
Spend order: monthly allotment → rollover → purchased packs. BYOK bypasses metering entirely.
