Actions & the agent
This is where LinkLane's AI stops advising and starts doing.
One-click fixes
When the AI spots something it can fix, it offers a TAKE ACTION button on the insight card. One click applies the change; a toast offers one-click Undo. Actions are derived deterministically from your metrics (the model never invents an action), ownership-checked, and reversible. Today's actions:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Turn on conversion tracking | Link has traffic but isn't measuring outcomes → enable it |
| Tag traffic (UTM) | No UTM, but a clear referring source → tag it for attribution |
Actions that need a human choice (e.g. a routing destination) open the editor pre-seeded instead of auto-applying.
AI Strategist
On the analytics home, describe a goal — "grow newsletter signups" — and the Strategist returns a grounded, prioritized plan: a short read on where you stand plus feature-tagged steps (A/B test, QR, UTM, routing…). When the plan includes applyable fixes, hit Apply all to run them in one batch, with Undo all.
The strategist orchestrates the existing insight + routing copilots — no separate AI system. It costs 10 AI credits per run.
Proactive alerts
LinkLane watches your links and notifies you before you ask. A background scan (and an on-demand "scan now") finds:
- Expiring soon — a link stops redirecting within 48 hours.
- Near its click cap — a max-clicks link is ≥90% used.
- Untracked winner — a link with real traffic and no conversion tracking.
Each finding lands in your notification bell, deep-linked to the link's insight — where the fix is often one click. Each finding alerts once (deduped).
